These are the holidays of the Wiccan religion:

Imbolic- or Imbolg, also called Brigid’s Day, is a Gaelic traditional festival marking the beginning of spring. It was traditionally held on 1st February. It lands about halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Historically, it was widely observed throughout Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man.

Ostara- celebrated March 19 to the 22nd. This holiday celebrates the spring equinox. The word Ostara comes from the Anglo-Saxon goddess name,Eostre. Eostre represents spring and the new beginnig.

Beltane- celebrated on May 1st. It is a Celtic word which means ‘fire of Bel’ (Bel is a Celtic deity) it is a fire festival that celebrates of the coming of summer and the fertility of the coming year.

Litha- celebrated on June 19-23. Also known as Midsummer. It occurs on the summer solstice and celebrates the beginning of summer.

Lughbasadh- celebrated of august 1st. It is a festival marking the beginning of the harvest season.

Mabon- celebrated on September 21st-24th. This holiday is also known as the pagan Thanksgiving. Mabon marks the Autumn Equinox, when days and nights are equal, making it time of balance, equality and harmony.

Samhain- celebrated October 31st- November 1st. This holiday is to welcome in the harvest and usher in “the dark half of the year” it is believed that the barriers between the psychical and spirit world break down allowing more communication between the worlds.

Yule- celebrated on December 20th-23rd. It’s the celebration of the winter solstice. It is one of the oldest winter celebrations in the world. It’s like the pagan version of Christmas.
